We hired Ralph to install a 6ft French door where previously a window had been. From the initial contact, his fast response, the quote and the end result I am genuinely impressed! Very professional, honest, works fast but has a great eye for detail. I now have a perfectly installed, smooth operating French door that me and our future guests will certainly enjoy! One thing I really admired: he found ways to re-use some of the building materials so I could actually bring back some of the items I had bought for the job. I will definitely hire Mon-Arch for future renovations!

We contracted Mon-Arch Renovations to do extensive renovations on 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. For both bathrooms, this involved completely gutting both rooms and re-building them from scratch: -Converting the stipple ceilings to flat ceilings -Bringing the electrical up to modern code -Changing the plumbing -Converting the main bath from 3 piece to 4 piece -New vanities, lighting, fixtures -New built-in-place glass and tile showers -New tile flooring -Paint, baseboards, etc For the 3 bedrooms, this included: -Converting the stipple ceilings to flat ceilings -New paint, carpeting, baseboards -Custom closet organizers -All new electrical fixtures Mon-Arch did an excellent job. It was evident from the beginning that the owner, Ralph, was very particular, professional and creative. He gave us designs, including 3D rendering images of completely new ideas we hadn't even thought of that would modernize our home and make maximum use of the spaces. Ralph was raised in Monte Carlo, France in a well established family construction business. He had a broad range of experience and knowledge and his designs carry a European flair, using the best quality materials and hard-working European tradespeople. We learned that we could have just left all of the decisions to him from the start and we would have been happy with the result. All of his choices were very tasteful and all of the accessories, lighting, tiling, shower glass, etc was of premium quality. Mon-Arch's sub-contractors all worked very hard and never seemed to take coffee or lunch breaks. Their British plumbing crew basically re-engineered the entire main bath plumbing, migrating from a 3 piece to a 4 piece, which included moving the toilet, dual sinks, drains, vents and shower plumbing, etc. This involved removing the entire sub-floor after removing the existing tile. Ralph did much of the prep work himself, which filled an entire dump trailer. The end result is a much more modern space with beautiful tile works done by Mon-Arch's Polish tiler, with all tiles perfectly aligned between horizontal and vertical floors and walls. The glass work is exceptional with beautiful, black Schluder, seamless drains, etc. The lighting changes were extensive, with new pot lighting, bathroom fans, high quality vanity lighting, etc. Both new bathroom vanities featured quartz countertops, integrated sinks and high quality Moen taps. All of the new hardware was done in flat black to match the liighting and Schluder-work. The en-suite bathroom was done with matching tile, paint and fixtures to maintain flow from room-to-room. The en-suite bathroom had previously undergone a new custom tile and glass shower renovation, which was completely gutted. We became aware of the stark difference in installation quality in watching the difference in design and materials between the old and the new shower design. We will be using Mon-Arch again and again for future renovations because we know that we simply have no need to worry about the outcome. This Spring, we'll have them re-do our side decking and aluminum railings. Then later, we'll have the downstairs bathroom completely re-done as well.
